Meet Dr. Samantha Annas

Dr. Samantha Annas,  is a proud Florida native who grew up in the beautiful coastal town of Pensacola. Surrounded by the sugar-white sand beaches, she was raised in an environment where family and friends held great significance in her life. As a youth, Dr. Annas was very active in both school, the arts, and church activities.

At just eight years old, Dr. Annas declared her dream of becoming a dentist—a goal she committed to wholeheartedly.  She is a third generation dental care giver as her grandmother was a dental assistant and her Mom, a dental hygienist and educator in the field.  Her academic excellence and determination were clear early on, as she graduated as Valedictorian of her high school class. She continued her education at the University of North Florida with the clear aim of attending the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Annas was honored with the prestigious “HU-Friedy” Golden Scaler Award, a recognition of her exceptional skills and commitment to the field.

Throughout her years at the dental college, Dr. Annas also devoted her time to Christian dental mission trips to Guatemala, where she worked to improve oral health and brighten smiles in underserved communities as a loving ambassador for Christ. These experiences further fueled her passion for service and reinforced her dedication to making a positive impact through dentistry. 

While attending dental school, she married her best friend, and together, they now raise their two young sons in Gainesville, accompanied by their lively dog, Caper. Beyond her professional and family life, Dr. Annas is involved in her church, contributing her time and talents to her church’s worship choir. She has continued to pursue advanced dental knowledge and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, and Alachua County Dental Association. Dr. Annas is a dedicated and compassionate professional, skillfully balancing her career in dentistry with her fulfilling role as a wife and mother. Her journey is a testament to her dedication, compassion, and lifelong commitment to both her profession and the people she serves.
