Meet The Staff at Transformation Dentistry

Our Dental Hygiene Team

Stacie

Stacie has been practicing dental hygiene since 2014, but started out as a dental assistant and fell in love with dentistry. She attended LSU but graduated from Santa Fe College in dental hygiene after moving to Gainesville. She earned top honors in her class and received the Thomas Herman Scholar award.

She loves educating her patients and helping them understand the oral systemic connection. Stacie is certified in identifying factors of sleep apnea, has attended training at the L. D. Pankey Institute and serves on the Santa Fe College Dental Programs Advisory Board.

Originally from New Orleans, she is married to her husband, Damion, and has twin girls that keep her on her toes.

Elisabetta

Elisabetta, also known as Betty, graduated as a Dental Hygienist from Edison College (now Florida SouthWestern College) in Fort Myers in 2002.

Betty was born and raised in Trieste, Italy, went to Art School, and in the early 90s moved to Naples, Florida where she worked for several years as a Dental Assistant. The transition from being an Assistant to become a Dental Hygienist happened naturally.

Betty has experience working in Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and General Dentistry and she has always enjoyed guiding her patients to achieve great Oral and Systemic Health.

In her free time she still enjoys Arts and Crafts, her pets, cooking, and being with her loved ones.

Liza

Elizabeth, or Liza as we know her, is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist that has been in practice since 2000.  She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College and uses her education and experience to provide high quality compassionate care for all of her patients.  Liza grew up here in Gainesville and loves helping and caring for others. She is compassionate, joyful, and very talented both in her hygiene skills and in crafting.  If there’s ever a project or party decor needed here at Transformation, you can bet that Liza is going to make it beautiful.  That goes for her patients’ smiles too.

Our Dental Assisting Team

Alicia

Alicia is no stranger to dentistry having spent over 24 years working in the dental field. Her warm smile and laugh bring light to our office as her clinical expertise assists our doctor to make sure your dental treatment is comfortable and beautiful. When she’s not in the office, Alicia loves working with all kinds of arts and crafts as well as searching our beautiful area for new additions to her artifact and arrowhead collection.  Born and raised in Alachua, she continues to make her home in the Sunshine state with her beautiful daughter and her spunky little dog, Gator.

Tiffany

Tiffany has been a certified dental assistant for 20 years. Hailing from Lake City, Tiff is a lover of coloring with her daughter, basketball with her son, and naps.  Tiff’s awesome two kiddos keep her busy, but she still finds time to step out of her comfort zone in service by participating in skits and dramas at her home church. Tiffany makes a great addition to our team and will treat you like family with her kind and quiet demeanor.  Fun fact: she was one of doc’s first assistants when she graduated from dental school, and is excited to be part of our team at Transformation Dentistry.

Our Patient Coordinators

Katlen

Katlen fell in love with dentistry two and a half years ago. She loves watching the transformation and the confidence it gives a patient when they walk out of our office doors with a new healthy smile.  Upon her adoption, Katlen grew up in Lake City.  She loves to bring laughter and joy into the office, creating connections with our patients to ensure they feel like family too.  She says ” I am a Christian practicing my faith one scripture at a time, and I want new and existing patients to feel they are always welcome to call or to stop in if they ever need anything.”

Mary

Mary was born and raised in Gainesville, FL, in a historic 1883 Victorian home that her parents have been restoring since 1971. She graduated from PK Yonge High School and continued her studies at Santa Fe College before relocating to Jacksonville, FL. There, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida.

Her journey then took her to Charlotte, NC, where in 2008, a dear friend introduced her to the world of dentistry. After 20 years of being away from home, Mary’s family encouraged her to return to Gainesville, where she could be more involved in the lives of her six nieces and nephews.

Mary is a devoted family person, she cherishes the family-like atmosphere at our office, saying, “It’s just one big happy family!” Outside of work, she can often be found helping a family member or close friend. Mary loves both the beach and the mountains, enjoys spending time outdoors on beautiful days, and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty—whether it’s growing something in the garden or tackling a home improvement project.
